Even though adult coloring books are wonderfully entertaining and a great way to relive your childhood they are also an amazing way to relax after a hard day or week of work. The coloring book includes about 50 true smaller mandalas and 50 larger designs that take up the entire page and are also mandalas in nature but do not match the exact definition of a mandala.

The mandalas in this adult coloring book are printed single sided with the back of every page being completely blacked out. This blacked out back hides any minor bleed through but does not in fact stop severe bleed through from seeping through the page and ruining the next design. Because of this we would highly suggest using a spare piece of paper to soak up any severe bleed through especially if you plan on using markers.

Color Me Calm Adult Coloring Book

This adult coloring book created by art therapist Lucy Mucklow and artist Angela Porter includes 100 coloring designs split up into separate categories all based around art therapy like mandalas, water scenes, wooded scenes, geometric patterns, and spirituality. The designs in this coloring book are printed single sided on medium quality paper with a glue binding.

The designs in this coloring book are all selected with art therapy and relaxation in mind and are printed on medium quality paper which handles ink well, however combined with the glue binding makes it almost impossible to lay flat without lots of ironing out on a hard surface and even then it was difficult and did not create a good coloring surface. Even with the medium quality paper we still recommend using a spare piece of paper between designs because even though this paper can handle ink quite well it is not perfect for markers especially alcohol based ones.
